4th December 2024, 17:00 - 20:00 at Witney Campus
Learn the management strategies and core skills required for a range of careers in Construction Management and Operations.
This course will prepare you for a career on site, with modules covering the built environment, construction technologies, legal and statutory requirements in construction, financial management and business practices in construction, surveying and measuring, and much more.
Higher National Certificates (HNCs) are Level 4 qualifications, and Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) are Level 5 qualifications. They fall between A Levels, T Levels and other vocational Level 3 courses; and Level 6 courses such as bachelor degrees.
Some HNCs and HNDs are classified as Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs). HTQs are 'quality approved' courses, recognised by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) to have met the knowledge and skills needed by the sector. They are marked by the HTQ logo.
Benefits of HNCs and HNDs
Cost effective, shorter study: As HNCs and HNDs are shorter than traditional degrees with a lower annual fee, they can offer a quicker and more cost effective alternative to study.
Independent Study: Apprenticeships and HNCs/HNDs are designed to the same standard, however each will suit different learning styles. A HNC/HND may be for you if you are settled in a job and do not feel you need additional pastoral support, or if you’re looking to train around your existing position.
