Please note below our term dates for the year starting September 2025, along with some key dates for students.

25/26 Term 1: 8th September - 19th December 2025

Please note that college will be closed on the following dates:

  • College Development Day: 24th October
    This is a staff development day.
  • October half term holiday: 27th - 31st October
25/26 Term 2: 5th January – 27th March 2026

Please note that college will be closed on the following dates:

  • February half term holiday: 16th - 20th February
25/26 Term 3: 13th April – 3rd July 2026

Please note that college will be closed on the following dates:

  • Bank holiday: 4th May
  • College Development Day: 5th May
    This is a staff development day.
  • May half term holiday: 25th - 29th May
GCSE Exam Dates

If you are studying English or maths GCSE at college, please make a note of the following exam dates. These dates are set nationally and cannot be changed.

You must not book holidays, event tickets, or other commitments on these days, as attendance at these exams is compulsory.

✏️ GCSE English:

  • Thursday 21 May 2026

  • Friday 5 June 2026

➗ GCSE Maths:

  • Thursday 14 May 2026

  • Wednesday 3 June 2026

  • Wednesday 10 June 2026

Who needs to resit?
Any student aged under 19 who has not yet achieved a Grade 4 (or above) in English or maths GCSE will be required to resit the qualification with us.

Further details about your course and exam arrangements will be shared with you as the academic year progresses.

If you have any questions, please speak to your tutor or contact the Exams Office.

In addition, there will be no teaching on the morning of the following dates, in order to accommodate the GCSE exams.
