Family Learning was established to help families gain new skills and the confidence to try other courses; and to help families learn from one another and enjoy spending time together.
Alongside essential skills such as English, maths, ESOL, IT and online safety, we also run family craft and activities, and family life skills classes to help you be there for your children when they need it the most.
If you are a school looking to set up new provision to help your student’s parents and carers, please get in touch to let us know what you would like to provide in your community. If you are a parent and carer looking for a course, don’t panic if you cannot find it on our website. We run all our courses in partnership with local schools and we do not display any of the courses we run on our website. Please ask your child’s reception what they currently have on offer or signpost them to our website to improve support near you.
All parents and carers want their children to do well at school and succeed, but sometimes it can be difficult to know where to start. Our courses aim to simplify learning for your children and to help you to stay up to date with what your child is learning and feeling.
We want your child to have support and guidance which is consistent and simple. That’s why we run our Family Learning courses in partnership with local primary schools so that the methods we teach, match what your child is taught at their school.
In our courses and workshops, you can ensure you’ll keep up to date with what your child’s learning.
Looking for support outside of academics? We also offer classes on how to eat well on a budget and classes which can help you make the most of your free time together. We also provide a range of courses that will show you tried and tested ways to help your child develop their confidence, resilience and emotional health.
