FE Commissioner Shelagh Legrave Visits Abingdon Campus

9th Dec 2024

We were delighted to welcome Shelagh Legrave, the Further Education (FE) Commissioner, to our Abingdon Campus last week. The visit highlighted the College’s commitment to providing outstanding education and showcased the exceptional facilities and dedicated staff that support student success.

During her visit to the campus, Shelagh had the opportunity to explore several key areas, including the cutting-edge Media Suite, the FEAST (Further Education Autism Specialist Team) space, and the vibrant Art & Design studios. She visited classrooms, engaged with both lecturers and students, and expressed her admiration for the College’s impressive facilities and learning environments.

Jacqui, Principal and Chief Executive commented:
"I was delighted to welcome Shelagh to the College. It was fantastic to be able to showcase some of our new facilities, such as our Media T Level suite, where we even tried out the virtual red carpet! Shelagh's team provides invaluable expertise and resources for the sector, so it was great to discuss the latest thinking in education as well as share the work we are doing to support students and employers across Oxfordshire."

The visit was a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate how the College continues to empower its learners and foster a culture of excellence. We look forward to building on this positive engagement as we strive to make an even greater impact in further education.
