Are you a creative person? Do you have a passion for nails and nail design and enhancement? Would you like to train in an industry environment? If so, then this is the right course for you!
This exciting part time course will allow you to develop your creative practical skills and teach you the theory alongside the practical units. This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a Level 2 Nail Technician including, mandatory units covering various units such as manicure, nail art, nail enhancement, client care and communication and health and safety. We offer many different industry related enrichment packages so you can gain lots of additional information and practical skills whilst studying with us.

Provide and maintain nail enhancement

Client care and communication in beauty-related industries

Provide manicure treatments

Provide nail art

Follow health and safety practice in the salon

What next?
On completion of this course, you may wish to enrol on to the VTCT Level 2 Beauty Specialist Certificate

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.

Qualifications received
On completion of this course you will receive a VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology.
Learning & method assessment
The majority of the course is practically assessed. You will also be assessed through assignments, workbooks, case studies and exams. You will build a portfolio of written and practical evidence during your time studying this programme.
User skills
You will learn a variety of skills including interpersonal skills and communication skills. As well as practical skills you will obtain a range of transferable skills including written and oral communication, team working and self-directed learning. You are expected to work in a commercial salon environment, completing nail treatments on paying clients.
