and this December, we’re adding a sprinkle of holiday magic by introducing Abingdon & Witney College’s Advent Calendar 2024 🎅.
Considering a career in early years education? We offer both the Early Years Practitioner and Early Year Educator apprenticeships.
Our early year apprenticeships prepare you to work in a range of early years education settings; including nurseries and day care, children's centres, pre-schools, reception classes and as childminders.
Through our apprenticeships you will learn to work confidently on your own or supervising others to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
Our Early Year apprenticeships prepare you to play a key role in ensuring that young children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.
Through your apprenticeship, you will learn to confidently work and interact directly with children on a day-to-day basis.
You will learn to support the planning and delivery of activities, purposeful play opportunities. and educational programmes within the ethos of the setting.
Alongside preparation to work with children, you will be taught how to professionally interact with parents, colleagues and wider multi-agency professionals and partners, such as health visitors, social workers and speech and language therapists.
