Abingdon & Witney College is celebrating another fantastic Results Day for our Level 3 learners, including T Level students. This year, more of our students have successfully achieved their qualifications than last year – a true reflection of our learners’ hard work and the dedication of our staff.

Celebrating our student’s success

Across the college, more students have passed their courses and progressed to exciting next steps – with an outstanding overall pass rate of 94%. We are proud of every single student, whatever their grade or destination.

Our T Level learners have continued to go from strength to strength, with Business students celebrating a perfect 100% pass rate. In other areas, the success stories are just as inspiring – from Media and Hair & Beauty to Motor Vehicle and Performing Arts, every student passed their course, making this a year to remember.

Our campus was full of smiles today as students collected their results and looked ahead to exciting futures.

Yasmine – T Level in Education & Early Years

“Very happy with my overall C grade. I did sixth form for a year, but it wasn’t for me. After work experience in a primary school in Year 10, I knew Early Years was the right path – and I’ve loved it at college.”

“I’m really pleased with my results and have enjoyed both the course and my work placement. The T Level was the perfect way to gain real industry experience while studying. I’m now looking forward to either starting an apprenticeship or moving straight into the workplace. My dream job would be in IT support, helping people with their tech-related problems.”

Nicholas – T Level in Computing

“I’ve really enjoyed my course – it’s been a lot of fun, but also challenging. I put a huge amount of effort into my final year project, so I’m thrilled to have achieved a distinction. I’m now hoping to study Architecture at university, and this course has been the perfect route into that field.”

Guilherme – Art & Design

We also caught up with Olivia, Paige, and Isabel who were on the Foundation Art & Design course. All three spoke highly of their experience, saying they thoroughly enjoyed the course and were delighted with their results. Their next steps vary: Olivia is planning a gap year to travel, Paige will be studying Interior Design at Birmingham University, and Isabel will be doing Graphic Design at Kingston University. They all agreed that the support from staff was fantastic and that the course helped them gain valuable skills and a clear direction for their future.

Bright futures ahead

This year, over 80% of the students who had applied for university have already had their place confirmed, and almost all of those received a place at their first choice of university, which is fantastic!
