The Youth Council Project (YCP) is an inspiring initiative that brings together young people from the Abingdon Learning Trust: Rush Common Primary School, John Mason and Fitzharrys Secondary Schools, and Abingdon and Witney College students. With a shared commitment to making a positive impact, the YCP aims to collaborate on projects that benefit the wider community.
As part of this exciting project, students from the participating schools and College were invited to take part in a logo design competition. This competition sought to create a visual identity that reflects the values and vision of the YCP. With the guidance of the College’s Marketing team, the students enthusiastically took on the challenge, submitting an impressive total of 32 creative entries.

Following the submissions, the students worked together to carefully shortlist and vote for the winning design. After several rounds of narrowing down the entries, we are thrilled to announce that Chloe Luck, an Art & Design student here at Abingdon & Witney College, created the final winning design, pictured below.

A huge thank you to all the young people who participated in the competition. As the project continues to develop, we look forward to collaborating and making meaningful changes in our local community.
Stay tuned for more updates on our initiatives and future projects!
