A day of calm in a busy world!

Join our celebration of women for International Women’s Day on Saturday, 12th March 2022, 10:00am to 4:00pm (registration from 9:15am), at the prestigious Hilton Garden Inn, Marcham Road, Abingdon OX14 1TZ. The event has been organised by Oxfordshire Adult Learning (a Faculty of Abingdon & Witney College) in association with the Athena Network.

As the lives of women today are busier than ever, so why not take time out to enjoy a day just for you. The day offers; presentations, workshops, and stalls all to help get a positive balance of work, life and leisure.

The presenters on the day are: Lindsay McLoughlin, a natural communicator with a love of social media and networking and Jo Joynes , an award-winning colour, style and make-up consultant.

The day also includes a range of Workshops are being including :

1. Slow Yoga Flow with Breathwork with Aleks Middleton, Yoga & Mindfulness Tutor
2. Indian Head Massage with Katie Chester, Complementary Therapist
3. Anti- ageing Nutrition with published author Rosalia Barresi
4. Exercise to Music with Sheralyn Hares, an experienced Exercise Tutor (please wear comfortable clothes and trainers, or equivalent).

There will also be time to meet local businesswomen and find out more about their services and products and take advantage of some great offers. These include; Life & Wellbeing Coach – Breathing Retrainer & Awareness Coach – Fashion Consultant for Friendtex – Smart Works Dressing & Coaching Service – Pranic Therapist – Lou’s Fit Kitchen YumBalls – Free Hand Treatments.

The event is organised in association with the Athena Network.

The event fee £49 per person and includes lunch, the Exhibition, a Goody Bag and Free Parking.
