Last week, some of our fantastic staff represented the College at the BETT Show 2026 in London. From Heads of Faculty and teaching staff to colleagues in support roles, the visit offered a valuable opportunity to explore the latest developments in educational technology and consider how innovation can enhance teaching, learning, and the wider student experience.

Recognised as the world’s largest EdTech event, BETT connects over 37,000 educators, policymakers, and industry changemakers with more than 700 EdTech organisations and 400 speakers from 130 countries.
This year’s theme, Learning without Limits, was reflected throughout the exhibition and sessions. Across the programme, delegates engaged with a wide range of ideas, from smarter AI-powered support for students and staff, to creative, inclusive approaches to literacy, and discussions focused on collaboration and leadership within the EdTech sector. These brief but impactful insights reinforced the importance of balancing innovation with practical application in educational settings.

Reflecting on the experience, Lecturer, Patrick Collett shared:
“A highly informative and insightful day exploring how we, as educators, can further integrate digital learning tools and software into our practice - not only to benefit our students, but to enhance our own teaching as well.”
The forward-thinking ideas and conversations sparked at BETT 2026 will help us continue to drive innovation across the College, with plenty of inspiration to build on.
