2026 Taster Sessions - Adverse Weather Update 23/06/26

Event description:

Due to the extreme weather conditions and in the interests of the health, safety and wellbeing of our students and staff, the College will close early on:

•  Wednesday 24th June: College will close at 2pm
•  Thursday 25th June: College will close at 1pm

This means that we are cancelling some of our taster sessions on these days. If you have registered for any of the affected sessions you will be contacted by email to let you know whether they are still going ahead.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Please note our Bicester Open Evening will be going ahead as planned on Wednesday 24th June (our Bicester Campus has air conditioning!)

Our Taster Events are a brilliant opportunity to get an insight into what studying with us could be like. Come along to see our facilities, meet your future tutors and get an overview of what you can study. It’s a great opportunity to get your questions answered and see how studying a college course could differ from school learning.

Our Taster Events are held at our Abingdon, Witney and Common Leys Farm campuses. They're open to Year 11 students who are considering applying, or are still exploring their options.

This year we also have a Foundation Art taster available to Year 12 and Year 13 only.

Please note if the session you want is no longer on the form it is FULL, if more spaces open up they will be added to the form
