OUFC Pre-season Training Sessions

Event description:

If you've applied for one of our OUFC Male Football Programme courses, join us for our Pre-Season Training Programme.

These sessions are designed to help you hit the ground running ahead of the new season and will include:
✅ Bespoke training sessions
✅ Code of conduct
✅ Icebreakers
✅ Performance analysis
✅Individual development plans

These bespoke training sessions will prepare you for the upcoming season and are being held throughout August at:

Oxford United Training Centre, Oxford Sports Park, Oxford, OX4 2RY

Dates are as follows:

Monday 3rd August: 14:00-17:00
Wednesday 5th August: 14:00-17:00
Friday 7th August: 14:00-17:00

Monday 10th August: 14:00-17:00
Wednesday 12th August: 14:00-17:00

Monday 17th August: 14:00-17:00
Wednesday 19th August: 14:00-17:00

Monday 24th August: 14:00-17:00
Wednesday 26th August: 14:00-17:00

Induction

Following the preseason training the course induction will start from 2nd September 2026.

Our bespoke preseason induction will provide students with a unique experience that will allow them to get used to the life of being a student of the Oxford United Advanced Programme. Aspects will include:

  • Fitness testing
  • Off site team building
  • Training sessions at the training centre
  • Tailored nutrition for performance sessions
  • A rules of the game workshop with a League 1 match official
  • 5 a-side in house tournament.
  • Tactical overview and target setting workshop

You may attend any/all of the sessions you wish.

What is the Oxford United Advanced Football Programme?

The Oxford United Advanced Football Programme is a course that allows you to study full time for a sports qualification with Abingdon & Witney College whilst training with Oxford United.
