Event description:
Following the success of last year’s event, Common Leys Farm in Hailey will be playing host to a Countryside Fayre on Monday 5th of May, from 10:30am to 4:00pm.
Bring all the family and enjoy a whole host of activities and demonstrations to get involved in, meet the animals, roam the farm, grab a drink and a bite to eat and see awesome student displays!
There will be a have-a-go dog agility course, if you’re looking to prepare your pup, whilst kids will love the pony rides, animal handling and foal parades that will be happening throughout the day. There will be craft & gift stalls, food stands, bouncy castle, face painting and many more activities!
Abingdon and Witney College’s Common Leys Farm Campus is over 60 acres of rolling countryside just north of Witney. The campus runs specialised courses in land based industries for students aged 16-19, adult learning courses and those on Higher Education programmes. The programmes include agriculture, forestry, countryside management, horticulture, floristry, animal management and horse management. Higher Education courses in Animal and Equine are run in partnership with Oxford Brookes University.
The College holds many open days and evenings throughout the year but for now, come along on the 5thof May to the Fayre to find out more about what we do and have a little fun too!
