Simplifying the skills system for local SME's
Promoting apprenticeships and green skills in the STEM sector
The project will be delivered through our college campuses in Abingdon, Witney and Bicester, giving access to all residents and SME's across Oxfordshire.
The project will run for two years from October 2021 to September 2023 and is part funded by the European Social Fund.
For employers...
Small & medium-sized businesses will be given the opportunity to upskill their employees with courses & qualifications to grow their business and boost the local economy.
They will benefit from increased, simple and straightforward access to the skills network, including 1-2-1 advice and support tailored to identifying their apprenticeship and training needs.
For the community...
Individuals will benefit from a detailed skills analysis, initial assessment and 1-2-1 advice and guidance exploring their career ambitions, training needs and the extent to which they could benefit from apprenticeships or other training.
