English for work, for study, and for daily life
An English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) course is for people who have come to the UK to live.
The courses are part-time and will help you with your speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Courses take place at:
- Abingdon Campus - Northcourt Road, Abingdon, OX14 1GG
- Witney Campus - Holloway Road, Witney, OX28 6NE
- Oxford - The St Clement's Centre, Cross Street, Oxford, OX4 1DA and The Old Schoolhouse, Hertford Street, Oxford, OX4 3AJ
Most ESOL courses start in September, January and April.
First, you will have a meeting so that we can decide your level. Courses start at Beginner level and go up to Level 2 Functional Skills. We will do our best to find a course that is the right level for you.
After your course, you can continue on to a higher level.
The course fee will depend on your personal circumstances, and may be free if you do not have a job, and on certain benefits or if you have a low wage.
