Paint an expressive landscape and learn a variety of watercolour techniques at the same time. Working from a photographic reference, there will be a stage by stage demonstration. This encompasses both drawing techniques along with the main ways of applying watercolour.
Construction Drawing and basic measuring techniques.
Layered washes
Wet into wet method
Experimental mark making with sand paper and wax.
Simple colour mixing from a limited palette
What next?
A beginners or mixed ability watercolour class to continue development.

Beginners or those with a little experience.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
