This course will familiarise you with the contents of the Regulations and Byelaws across the four nations. Becoming an approved contractor with your local water authority can generate new revenue as well as providing the ability to self-certify small works avoiding costly delays on site.
The mainly theory-based course includes training and assessment in the Water Supply Regulations 1999 and Water Regulations Advisory Scheme.

This course is also a requirement for those wishing to attend the BPEC Level 3 Award in Air Source Heat Pump Systems. The training may also be relevant to people not wishing to become approved but whose role involves having knowledge of compliance with the Regulations and Byelaws, such as designers, specifiers, and site managers.
