This course is designed for individuals with no prior knowledge of Ukrainian. Over 10 weeks, students will learn the fundamentals of the Ukrainian language, including basic vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills. The course aims to provide a solid foundation for further study and practical use of Ukrainian in everyday situations.
By the end of the course learners will be able• Greet people formally and informally • Introduce themselves and share basic personal details • Talk about their family, job, and daily life • Order food, ask for prices, and go shopping • Understand key Ukrainian grammar concepts such as verbs, pronouns, and possessives • Read and pronounce simple Ukrainian phrases correctly • Engage in basic conversations relevant to travel and everyday life

Entry criteria
There are no formal entry requirements just a willingness to explore a fascinating language . The standard approximates to level A0/A1 in terms of the Common European Framework.
