This course is designed for young adults who have an EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan) and who are getting ready to move into the work place - either through employment or a supported internship.
The course consists of appropriate maths and English qualifications and an accredited employability qualification at Level 1.

On the course students will have the opportunity to improve upon their independent skills, key work skills, become confident users of public transport, complete relevant work experience, and engage in the College’s core programme aimed at learning about the world around them.

The course runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with Tuesday being a work experience day.

What next?
The intended destination for learners on Transition to Work is either employment or a supported internship programme.
Entry criteria
No formal entry requirements however all students are required to have an Education Health & Care Plan that is supported by their Local Authority, and places on any course are subject to the LA agreeing to fund placement.
