A weekly singing group meeting on Thursday evenings to explore the joys of working together to blend, express and perform songs in a relaxed environment with a very experienced singing educator. Also, there is the chance to cover material chosen and arranged to suit the group involved and the styles of songs appropriate to group members.
This class is aimed at amateur enthusiastic singers who wish to expand their knowledge, expression, communication and performance of group songs.

Physical, breathing, and vocal exercises will be used to help with the styles and techniques we will be covering as well as general vocal health. Sessions will then move onto chosen and/or arranged songs specifically tailored for the group. We will work on singing together with a good, blended tone, unison and harmony songs, good expression, and performance. Both older and contemporary music of differing styles and genres can be covered.

What next?
Look out for workshops and singing courses in the future through Oxfordshire Adult Learning which will include different material or consider joining a singing group or society if you are not in one already.
Entry criteria
No previous knowledge or experience necessary. All welcome.
