A 4-week online course for parents and carers of primary age children. The aim is to develop a greater understanding of the emotions and behaviours children display, develop strategies to support them and overall create a happier home life.
On this course we will cover:

• Emotional Regulation with support resources• Understanding what positive discipline is and strategies to support you and your child with key aspects of this. • Identifying the difference between a tantrum and a meltdown and developing strategies to support managing them effectively.• An opportunity to learn new strategies and share experiences and ideas with other parents

The course will be held online using Teams.

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2025 prior to starting the course.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
