This programme will enable you to develop a purposeful combination of knowledge, skills, and behaviours to enter employment as a Community Activity Leader at entry level or progress to the next level of the Sport programme. This includes working with members of the group and developing a wider understanding of the sports industry and how to conduct yourself as a professional.
The Level 2 programme is made up of 4 units in one year of study. These units focus on leading physical activity and working in the sport and active leisure industry. The assessment methods are entirely coursework based and include written reports, presentations and practical observations.

- Working in the Sport and Active Leisure Industry- Roles and Responsibilities of a Community Activity Leader- Planning and Promoting Community Activities- Working as a Community Activity Leader

What next?
These qualifications provide a natural route into football-related roles, further/higher education courses such as Foundation Degrees and Honours Degrees in sport-related disciplines, or higher apprenticeships.

Students that finish programmes can progress to further/higher education to study a range of courses, including: • Sports, Coaching and Physical Education • Football Studies • Sports and Exercise Science• Strength and Conditioning • Sports Therapy

Entry criteria
4 GCSES at grade 3 including English or Maths OR a Level 1 pass in a related subject plus English or Maths, and both English and Maths must be at least grade 2 / Level 1 Functional Skills.
Fee information
Study trips and visits linked to modules are arranged as part of your programme of study. Fees regarding these trips are listed below with further advisement upon the start of the course. A day trip and induction trip fee will be payable at induction and are correct at the time of writing:

Day trip fees: £60 (this covers two trips)

Induction trip fee: £130 (Bootcamp Induction trip)
