Abingdon CampusThe course explores a broad range of advanced topics and encourages thoughtful discussion and critical analysis. You will build confidence in both formal and informal communication while engaging in complex conversations and debates.
Topics covered include: • Understanding and producing formal and informal speech in academic, professional, and social contexts
• Analysing and discussing literary works, films, music, and other art forms
• Narrating past events clearly and effectively
• Discussing and debating global events and current affairs. Facilities at Abingdon Campus: • Vending machines and Costa Coffee shop (open until 7pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during term time)
• Watercoolers available for refilling water bottles
• Free parking
Please note due to half term, there will be no session on 17.02.26.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
