In this course, you will make significant progress at an advanced level. You are expected to read and comprehend complex texts on a wide range of topics. Additionally, you should be able to express yourself fluently and effortlessly, using the appropriate language for various situations, whether social, academic, or professional. You will demonstrate the ability to use the language efficiently and flexibly, showing a deep understanding of its structure and nuances.
This course offers a broad range of advanced topics designed to help you deepen your understanding of the language and engage in complex conversations. On this course, you will cover:

- Expressing possibility, obligation, and necessity.- Making hypotheses about the past.- Narrating past events.- Making formal complaints in various formats.- Discussing and debating global events and current affairs.

Spanish - Developing Conversational Fluency B
Entry criteria
Students must have completed the Improving Fluency courses or have studied Spanish for a sufficient amount of time to engage in conversations with native speakers effortlessly and understand moderately complex texts. They should possess an intermediate proficiency in the language, meaning they can communicate effectively in everyday situations, express opinions on familiar topics, and understand both concrete and abstract texts. This course approximates to a Level B2 of the Common European Framework.

Learning & method assessment
Learning activities will include individual, pair, small group and whole class work. You will listen to the spoken word through conversation activities, CDs and DVDs, practise speaking, play games, read more complex texts and write accounts. This is not an accredited course so there will be no formal examination. However, your tutor will ask you to complete informal assessment exercises and will give you feedback.

To track your progress and achievement you will be required to complete a short document.
