On the Spanish Intermediate course you will learn to express yourself in spoken and written Spanish, using simple language for everyday situations that are relevant for you. You will be able to take part in simple conversation where you will describe what you need, your surroundings and talk about past events.
On this course you will work on:

- Narrate past events. - Talk about the biography of someone. - Ask for permission, a favour or help. - Maintain a telephone conversation in different situations from formal to informal. - Invite someone and arrange the meeting. - Travelling; asking for information at stations; asking and giving directions; timetables.

Spanish – Intermediate C
Entry criteria
This course is designed for students who have completed the Intermediate A course or who have studied Spanish for about two academic years and learnt to speak at the present tense with some knowledge of past tenses. Students should be able from the start to describe their weekly routine, to talk about their habits and their hobbies, analyse a few characters, provide opinions and express thoughts. The standard approximates to Level A2 in terms of the Common European Framework.

Learning & method assessment
Learning activities will mainly be organised in pair work/small groups. Homework every week will be based on a summary sheet of the lesson for you to review in your own time. There will be no formal examination.

To track your progress and achievement you will be required to complete a short document.
