You are now using reasonably accurately a repertoire of frequently used "routines" and patterns associated with more predictable situations. In this course, you will be able to understand the main points of a text written in clear, standard Spanish about different topics. You will also learn to communicate in more specific situations when travelling or working. You will also be able to describe plans, experiences or different events in their lives and to express your thoughts in a more sophisticated manner.
On this course you will:

- Describe abilities. - Describe the past and routines or actions in the past. - What you have been doing and how long. - Make comparisons. - Express probability - Ask and give cultural information. - Express conditions and consequences.

Entry criteria
This course is for students who have completed the Intermediate course or have studied Spanish long enough to have enough language to get by, with sufficient vocabulary to express yourself on topics such as family, hobbies and interests, work, travel, and current events The standard of this course approximates to Level A2/B1 in terms of the Common European Framework.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.

Learning & method assessment
You will learn in wide range of ways, from listening and repeating, seeing something written first, individually through personal work at home, collaboratively in pairs, small group and as a whole group in the classroom, you will improve your mastering of a new language and specific words for grammar. The use of audio and video material will be monitored to make the language accessible and comprehensible while stretching your level with genuine resources.

To track your progress and achievement you will be required to complete a short document.
