An all-day singing workshop taking place on June 15th, 2024, for people who would like to improve their performance of their own chosen song in either pop, musical theatre or classical styles in a relaxed environment with a very experienced singing educator. Also, there is the chance to sing together material chosen and arranged to suit the group involved and the styles of songs chosen by participants.
As part of the introduction, targeted physical, breathing, and vocal exercises will be used to help with the styles and techniques we will be covering in the day. The day will then include concentrated work with each participant on their solo song, developing through to related material we can sing together. Both older and contemporary music can be covered.

Abingdon and Witney College are subject to Ofsted visits and have a responsibility to ensure we meet/exceed their requirements. As a result of this you will find you will be expected to understand the government initiatives around Safeguarding, Prevent and Fundamental British Values as well as complete quality monitoring paperwork as part of the workshop.

Abingdon and Witney College is subject to Ofsted regulation and is required to work with all its students to make sure they understand Government initiatives around Safeguarding, Prevent and Fundamental British Values. Information on these matters will be shared with you during your course.
