Join us for a creative and rewarding experience in silversmithing and jewellery making. This immersive six-hour workshop is designed to introduce you to the art of jewellery-making and silversmithing and explores the process of creating a contemporary large looped silver chain.
Using sterling silver wire, you will learn how to form, solder, and finish your own unique necklace. The session focuses on mastering core techniques while encouraging creativity in loop sizing, texture, and finish. By the end of the workshop, you will leave with a fully wearable handcrafted chain.

With guidance from an experienced tutor, this course provides a welcoming and supportive space to build technical skills and create a bespoke piece of statement jewellery.Free parking onsite, bus stop outside. Bring own refreshments if needed. We recommend wearing closed, comfortable shoes.

Entry criteria
This course is designed for learners who have a desire and are curious about jewellery making. Beginner to intermediate

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.

This course/workshop includes a material fee that provides essential resources and hands-on demonstrations, empowering you to achieve your learning goals and master new skills with confidence. Please note that the cost of materials for this workshop may vary. Silver prices fluctuate throughout the year, and because this course uses real silver for your jewellery project, the material fee will be adjusted to reflect the market price at the time of the workshop. Any changes will be communicated clearly so you know what to expect before attending.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
