Advance your skills with our Dress Block Pattern Cutting course. Build on your bodice block knowledge to draft, fit and adapt to a dress block using your measurements. Create a toile and refine the fit and draft a pattern of your chosen dress design keeping up with the latest trends. This workshop covers all aspects of flat pattern cutting needed to draft a personalised block from your bodice block. You will take accurate body measurements, draft the dress block and make a toile before making necessary adjustments. Pattern adaptations will be made to perfect your design before cutting the final dress pattern. During the workshop you will complete pattern adaptations exercises (moving darts, collars, sleeves and openings) and decide on style lines to get the latest look for your own design.

NB: A requirement for this workshop is that you have completed the bodice block course as you will need to bring the draft and toile along to this workshop.
