You will be learning the Russian Alphabet, basic grammar and vocabulary for the topics. You will learn words and phrases needed for greeting and introduction, words and phrases associated with travel and arriving at the airport, places in town, asking the way and understanding simple written and spoken directions, buying a drink and a snack in a bar or café, family and Russian name system. By the end of the course you will: • know Russian Alphabet (letters & sounds) and main rules of pronunciation• be able to order a drink and a snack in a café• be able to use words and phrases needed for greeting and introduction• know words and phrases associated with travel and arriving at the airport• be able to ask the way and understand simple written and spoken directions• be able to recognise the words for different members of the family• understand the Russian name system and recognise some common Russian names• be able to choose the correct way to address people

Free parking onsite, bus stop outside. Bring own refreshments if needed. No class during half term.
