The construction industry is evolving—and retrofit is at the heart of the UK’s strategy to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency in buildings. The City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Retrofit provides a solid foundation in retrofit awareness, helping learners understand the principles, processes, and roles involved in upgrading existing buildings for a greener future.

Learning & method assessment
Six e-learning modules, each with its own knowledge quiz to gauge your progress. You can ask your tutor questions and get feedback by request. When you start your final module, you can book your attendance of a workshop where you can ask questions and get ready for the final multiple-choice exam.
User skills
Learners will gain an understanding of what domestic retrofit is, what it is supposed to achieve, what you need to know when working in the industry, and what to look out for when installing energy efficiency measures in homes.
