Are you currently working as a therapist and are looking to expand your skillset into the growing Aesthetics market? Are you already working with radio frequency systems but are concerned about the imminent government regulation changes that require you to hold an accredited qualification? Are you maybe thinking of a career change? If any of those ring true, then this is the course for you. Working together with high end medical grade IPL systems from renowned Lynton Lasers, we will provide extensive training and support in this field that will allow you to feel competent and safe once working out in industry.
This qualification is informed by employers and national occupational standards for beauty therapy and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a radio frequency skin rejuvenation practitioner. Throughout this qualification, you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to Level 4 aesthetic therapies.

You will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to communicate, consult with and analyse clients for treatment, whilst honing your customer service skills.

You will work in our professional salon with real clients to gain the experience and confidence you need.

Course units
There is one mandatory unit: Provide Radio Frequency Treatments. To achieve this unit learners must complete an externally set and marked written exam, graded practical exam and clinical case studies.
What next?
Further Level 4 courses: Award in Skin Peeling, Award in Skin Needling, Award in Laser and Light Hair Reduction, Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Treatments
Entry criteria
You must be 18 years or older and hold a recognised Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification which must include Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology.

Alternatively, the new VTCT Level 3 Entry to Aesthetics qualification is the entry route for those new to the beauty industry or seeking a career change.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
