Print Making - Mixed Ability

Explore an engaging variety of creative media and artistic approaches. Work on both relief and intaglio printing techniques. Through practical exercises and constructive support, develop your technical skills and take your creativity further. This intensive course is designed to help you to improve your printmaking skills, while presenting new challenges, ideas and approaches.

What you can expect on the course:* To explore the creative process of printmaking. * The use of available learning resources: smartboard, reproductions, handouts and sketches to develop your visual thinking. * To learn about printmaking and its history. * To use drawing to research, develop and record ideas. * To apply visual language: line, pattern, shape, form, tonal value, colour and texture in relation to composition of printmaking project. * To express your creative ideas through group discussion. * The exploration and development of your personal style.

For the first session please bring A4 cartridge paper and your usual drawing equipment.

Your tutor will advise on further materials and equipment you may need as the course progresses.

Please note there are no classes during half term.
