The Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Personal Care Needs serves as a specialized qualification designed to equip learners with in-depth knowledge of personal care requirements in the healthcare and social care sectors. The curriculum focuses on the study of personal care needs within healthcare and social care sectors. Entry criteria
Learners must be aged 19 or above and have not previously completed a similar qualification to qualify for funding. Some courses may have additional specific prerequisites. Please see fee information for funding requirements, or discuss upon enquiry.

These courses are government funded. To be able to study for free you must meet the following criteria:

- You must currently live in England

- You must have been a resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years for purposes other than study

- You must be over the age of 19

- You must not be an apprentice

- You must not be currently studying another funded course.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
