There will be a continuation course Museum Drawing - Mixed Ability B in January 2026.

No formal qualification necessary, but students should have had some prior experience of working in art & design, GCSE/O level or evening class work. Enthusiasm and commitment are essential and more important than formal qualifications.

The specialist consumable fee set at £18.00 per course covers materials provided for students to try or experiment with, as part of the planned study. This sum includes drawing boards, tinted paper, pastels, colour pencils.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.

As this is a non-accredited course, informal methods of assessment will be used, and you do not need to worry about sitting an exam or doing any coursework.
Teaching & learning methods used:
Lecture, demonstration, individual student practice, pair work, group discussion, peer’s evaluation, quiz, exhibition of students’ completed projects.
How will your work be assessed?
