Entry criteria
The training and assessment course is aimed at candidates who hold one of the following: • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent earlier certification • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Domestic Installation) or equivalent earlier certification • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Industrial and Commercial Installation) or equivalent earlier certification • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Oil-Fired Technical Services or equivalent earlier certification • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent earlier certification AND, if not included within the above qualification: • Water Regulations/Water Byelaws Please note that stand-alone technical certificates and Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs) that are not competency-based are not accepted. A recommended prerequisite is the BPEC Low Temperature Hot Water Heating Systems (LTHWHS) qualification.
