Witney CampusTesting your creativity through challenging and engaging projects, you will be encouraged to consider the importance and application of ethical and sustainable design principles, as well as developing a contextual knowledge and understanding of creative practice in industry.
This programme of study is ideal for students who want to explore and experiment with a range of different specialist practices within the creative industries (Year One) and then specialise in one particular specialist practice to enable further progression (Year Two).
On successful completion of this programme of study you will have gained the necessary industry relevant skills, knowledge and understanding to access appropriate entry level roles, training programmes or apprenticeships in the creative sector, or apply for progression to higher education courses.
Alongside your Diploma, as part of your Futures Study Programme you will: Develop your maths and English skills at the right level for you. Complete 5 days of work experience to help you grow your employability skills. Experience fun enrichment opportunities, including workshops, trips and visits. Develop your personal and professional skills and attributes with guidance and support.
The UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication is equivalent in size to 3 A levels and is typically delivered over two-years of full-time study. The qualification is comprised of the Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication and an additional year of study.
Day trips - approx. £40 (paid separately on request)
If you will be 19+ at the start of the academic year you may be eligible to pay tuition fees. Please enquire for further guidance.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
