Witney CampusThe course will explore: • types of social care support available to adults • the range of jobs available in adult social care • the values and principles of adult social care • the importance of diversity within adult social care • the range of skills and attitudes essential to work in adult social care • the communication skills needed and how adult social care workers can meet the communication and language needs of individuals • the importance of record keeping in adult social care settings
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.Please note there will be no classes on 15/05/2025 or 29/05/2025.
There are vending machines available where hot/cold drinks and snacks can be purchased. There are watercoolers on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.There is no parking on the campus during the day. Please use Marriotts Walk or Woodford Way Car Parks which are a few minutes’ walk away.Please report to Reception on arrival. A photo-id will be issued, for you to wear when you attend classes.
