Gosford Hill SchoolYou will need to bring your bicycle with you, together with your bicycle repair kit, which needs to include the following:
• Side cutters• Puncture Repair Kit and Pump• Tyre Levers (if not part of the Puncture Repair Kit)• Adjustable Spanner• Set of Allen Keys• Crosshead ScrewdriverIf you have a bicycle repair stand, please bring it with you.
On this workshop, the following areas of bicycle maintenance will be covered:• Safety checks before setting off on a bike ride. (M check)• How to complete basic bike setup, seat height, lever positions, etc• How to check, adjust and replace brake pads and cables.• How to adjust gears and fix common gear issues• Repair or replace chains• Checking wheels and tyres• Replacing a punctured inner tube and repairing a puncture
It will also provide roadside repair tips to get you home safely should anything go wrong whilst you are out riding.
