This workshop is for people who would like to find and learn about their singing voice from scratch in a relaxed environment with a very experienced singing educator. Discover the techniques and enhance your well-being and confidence in expressing yourself through your own very individual instrument with material tailored to you.
There will be an introduction to the singing voice and the use of physical, breathing, and vocal exercises to get your singing voice going along with an exploration of your voice and its characteristics and range. The session will continue to expand into various aspects of singing such as tone quality, smoothness, register changes, and tuning, working with songs suitable to the students’ style, ability, and experience. This will include a lot of singing together as a group but also will provide opportunities for solo work when appropriate as well as own choices of songs.
