This course is ideal for learners who have completed an Improvers course (post-beginner level) and are ready to take on new speaking challenges. It’s especially suited for those eager to build confidence in conversation using post-beginner grammar, vocabulary, and basic kanji compound words.
There is no class during half term, parking onsite.
While the textbook used is Genki I, lessons won't strictly follow the textbook’s order. Instead, content will be guided by engaging, authentic materials—including news articles, manga, and simple stories—allowing you to apply your learning in real-life contexts.

To enrich your experience, the course also includes termly cultural sessions such as calligraphy, basic flower arrangement, and a weekend museum visit—offering a unique blend of language and culture in one immersive program.

The course is delivered face-to-face to maximise interaction and practice, but online participation is available upon request (please note, online learning may offer a more limited experience).
