The Japanese Intermediate course is designed for learners who have successfully completed the Japanese Improvers course and can read and write using all three scripts (Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji), with knowledge of at least 80 Kanji words. This 30-week course is divided into three stages—A, B, and C—focusing on expanding language proficiency for real-world situations and functional communication.

In Intermediate A, you will build on your existing knowledge and begin to express opinions and preferences more fluently. The focus will be on practical expressions and conversations, you will learn to engage in simple dialogues with native speakers and read easy Japanese news articles.

This course will help learners gain greater fluency, allowing them to navigate various social and practical situations in Japanese with ease."

Expressing Opinions: Learn to express personal opinions, preferences, and suggestions.Simple Dialogues: Engage in conversations with native speakers on a variety of everyday topics.Reading Comprehension: Read easy news articles and short stories.Functional Expressions: Practice expressions used in daily life, such as greetings and casual interactions.Kanji Practice: Study more Kanji, building up to 80+ characters.
