Build your confidence in Italian with this practical Improvers A course, designed to help you take your conversational skills to the next level.
Italian - Improvers A is the first in the follow-on series from the Beginners C course. It’s designed for learners who already have a basic understanding of Italian and are ready to move beyond simple phrases and routine conversations. This course will help you become more confident in using the language in a range of everyday situations that are less predictable and more varied.

You’ll work on improving your ability to take part in short conversations, understand brief dialogues and texts, and express yourself clearly when talking about topics such as personality, animals, the home, renting accommodation, and daily life. Grammar focus will include greater use of the present, past and future tenses, helping you to apply the language with more flexibility and depth.

This course is ideal for those who want to engage more meaningfully in conversation while visiting Italy or using the language in a work-related context.

To get the most out of the course, it’s recommended that you spend some time between sessions reviewing what you’ve learned. A small amount of homework will usually be set each week (up to an hour), and even when not assigned, regular revision is encouraged to help consolidate your learning.

This course offers a supportive and engaging environment to continue your Italian learning journey and gain the confidence to communicate more effectively.
