IT and technology as a sector is very broad ranging and allows people to use technical and customer service skills to produce solutions to everyday problems within a digital environment. These apprenticeships focus on computing, software/web development and networking skills at different levels and provide training in both the technical and customer service elements of IT roles.

Digital & technology solutions professionals provide solutions to internal and/or external customers, in areas including software, systems analysis, cyber security and network infrastructure. They implement technology solutions that enable businesses to develop new products and services or to increase an organisation’s productivity using digital technologies.

Entry criteria
No formal entry requirements. Applicants are likely to have 4 GCSEs at grade A* - D or grades 9-3 and will need to be able to demonstrate the capability to achieve all elements of the apprenticeship during their programme, including working in a suitable job role.
