Common Leys FarmPart of your learning will take place in our barn fitted with modern farming technology. Here, you will be given a demonstration as to how modern technology can benefit farmers on a small and large scale.
No experience or knowledge is needed to take part in this course, but if you do already have your own smallholding and want advice and guidance, this course is perfect for you.
The day will include a mixture of practical activities on the college farm as well as theory sessions, during which Land management will also be addressed.
There will be a question and answer session to allow for those with particular interests to gain expert advice.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
