This course is a progression opportunity for those who have completed the Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment and have been assessing for at least one year.
This course will provide you with the certification you need to move from an assessor to an internal verifier for work based assessments. You will learn how to carry out holistic assessment, gain an appreciation of work-based assessment standards and learn how to support assessors to compile evidence portfolios with their learners.

Learners might be interested in our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
Entry criteria
You will need to carry out real assessments of at least two assessors who are supporting learners to take a work-based qualification in order to achieve the Internal Quality Assurance qualification.
Fee information
The course fee includes workplace visits from our assessors as well as support and guidance to build your portfolio of evidence.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
