Learn how to make existing, established street food style dishes from North India. For the duration of the course, you will have the opportunity to observe a tutor led, master class where you will learn about spices and regional dishes of India. With guidance and support from our experienced tutor you will be able to cook a new dish each week to take home and enjoy with your family. Your teacher has 60 years of home-cooking experience behind her, and more than 20 years of teaching in Oxfordshire. Her dedication to spreading Indian vegetarian food led her to start up her own food brand with her family ‘Holy Cow’ curry sauces.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.

Each week you will explore and complete the following:• Pakoras• Aloo tikki • Samosas• Jalebi• Choley puri • Bread pakoras • Papri chat• Dal Vada• Dahi Bhaia & mater chaat

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.

Learning & method assessment
The first hour will consist of tutor demonstration of the street food dish, where learners get the opportunity to observe, ask questions and taste. You will then have the opportunity to cook your own dish with guidance and support from the tutor.As this is a non-accredited course, informal methods of assessment will be used. To track your progress and achievement you will be required to complete a short document.
