ILM - Effective Coaching and Mentoring - Level 3

There are three mandatory units in this qualification:
Unit 1:Understanding good practice in workplace coaching’ covers the role of coaching, basic coaching processes and the abilities and qualities you need to be a good coach.
Unit 2: Reflecting on workplace coaching skills’ will give you the tools to analyse and improve your own performance as a coach.
Unit 3: Undertaking an extended period of coaching in the workplace’, which requires at least 36 hours of coaching for a deeper level of skill and experience.

Successful learners can progress to the Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management.

There are no formal entry requirements for the course. Students are likely to be team leaders, practising or aspiring managers, and have access to their organisational data. However, please speak to us if you are not in this position as you may still be able to complete the course.

The course is delivered online and you need to be competent using MS Office and MS Teams.

Students will be sent course information by the tutor before the course starts and will have the opportunity to discuss online study and to ask any questions. Students must be aged 19 or over.

International students will be expected to have IELTS 6.0 (with 6.0 in reading and writing and 5.5 in listening and speaking).

If you need a student visa to enter the UK, you will need to meet the UK Visas and Immigration minimum language requirements.

There are copies of core texts available in the library, but students may wish to purchase their own.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
