The T Level in Healthcare is an exciting cross-curriculum course offering students practical experience and the theoretical underpinning knowledge to pursue careers in health and social care.
It's hard to imagine a more dynamic, fast-changing sector than nursing and healthcare in the UK. These new qualifications bring classroom learning and an extended industry placement together on a course designed with businesses and employers, helping prepare students to meet the needs of industry and work.

The course is taught by a range of staff from a variety of vocational backgrounds and is designed to enable you to progress to employment or apprenticeships in hospitals or healthcare settings or to move on to studying in higher education. Oxford Brookes University is guaranteeing an interview for our T Level graduating students providing they meet the conditions outlined in their prospectus.

T Level placements in Education and Early Years or Health and Social Care involve regulated activity with children and/or vulnerable people. This means students will be directly engaged in caring for, supervising, or educating children and/or vulnerable people. Due to the responsibilities involved, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is a necessary requirement. This check helps ensure students are suitable to work with children and/or vulnerable people and plays a vital role in safeguarding and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. As part of the enrolment process, students will be asked to bring in the necessary documentation to complete their DBS check. In addition, primary schools, nurseries and care settings will request confirmation of a student’s suitability to work within the sector before accepting them on placement.
