T-Levels are a qualification designed to give young people a new two-year, full-time study vocational programme equivalent to 3 A Levels. These new qualifications bring classroom learning and an extended industry placement together on a course designed with businesses and employers, helping prepare students to meet the needs of industry and work.

It's hard to imagine a more dynamic, fast-changing sector than nursing and healthcare in the UK. The T Level in Healthcare is an exciting cross-curriculum course offering students practical experience and the theoretical underpinning knowledge to pursue careers in health and social care. The course is taught by a range of staff from a variety of vocational backgrounds and is designed to enable you to progress to employment or apprenticeships in hospitals or healthcare settings or to move on to studying in higher education. Oxford Brookes University is guaranteeing an interview for our T Level graduating students providing they meet the conditions outlined in their prospectus.

In Year 1 you will cover all of the underpinning knowledge required to work in the Healthcare sector. You will learn about providing person-centred care and care values, Health and Wellbeing including recognising the signs and symptoms of health deterioration and infection control and prevention.
